THE SHORT ANSWER

GoHighLevel is worth it for agencies that sell funnels, campaigns and lead generation, or resell software under their own brand: Unlimited at $297 a month is the usual agency plan, and Agency Pro at $497 adds SaaS mode. Agencies whose product is project delivery should test the post-sale handoff first; our pick for that work is Workspace369, which we make.

Our #1 pick is Workspace369, and we make it. Our editorial approach ↗

GoHighLevel is a strong buy for agencies that sell funnels, campaigns and lead generation, or want to resell software under their own brand. Most agencies serving several clients land on Unlimited at $297 a month; Agency Pro at $497 adds SaaS mode. If your agency mainly sells scoped projects, billable hours and retainers, test the post-sale handoff before you commit.

Prices and plan details were checked on HighLevel’s and Workspace369’s own pages on October 5, 2026. This is an assessment of published plans and features, not a hands-on test. The agency scenarios below are illustrations, not customer results.

How much does GoHighLevel cost in 2026?

HighLevel sells three self-serve plans and a sales-led Enterprise plan. The prices are flat per agency account, not per seat. What changes the price is the number of sub-accounts, which are the separate client workspaces you manage.

Plan Billed monthly Billed yearly (total) Sub-accounts What it adds
Starter $97 $970 3 All core features
Unlimited $297 $2,970 Unlimited Rebill phone and email at cost, basic API access
Agency Pro $497 $4,970 Unlimited SaaS mode, automated sub-account creation, rebilling with markup, user/agent reports, advanced API
Enterprise Custom Custom Custom Dedicated success manager; white label mobile app and HIPAA compliance included

USD list prices from HighLevel pricing, checked October 5, 2026. The yearly column is an annual prepayment, equal to ten monthly payments.

Three details matter more than the headline number:

  • Starter is for one business or a new agency. HighLevel’s own FAQ describes the three sub-accounts that way. A fourth client means moving to Unlimited.
  • Team size doesn’t change the bill. HighLevel doesn’t charge per team member, and contacts are uncapped on every plan, so a growing staff costs nothing extra at the subscription level.
  • Usage is billed on top. The FAQ lists phone numbers, SMS, emails sent and premium AI as usage-based charges. On Unlimited and Agency Pro you can rebill those to clients.

Every plan has a 14-day free trial with access to that tier’s features. Billing is month to month with no long-term contract, and HighLevel prorates a mid-month upgrade. HighLevel pricing FAQ

What does GoHighLevel white label include?

White label is where HighLevel separates itself from most CRMs. According to its pricing FAQ, you can connect custom domains for funnels and websites and white-label the desktop web app, so clients see your logo when they log in. The add-ons below are listed separately.

White-label piece Listed cost Notes
Branded desktop web app Included in the subscription Described in HighLevel’s pricing FAQ
SaaS mode Agency Pro, $497/month Sell your own plans; accounts are created automatically
White label mobile app $497/month add-on Included with Enterprise
Branded Client Portal App $49/month per sub-account Add-on

Source: HighLevel pricing and add-ons, checked October 5, 2026.

SaaS mode turns HighLevel into a product you sell. You connect Stripe, build plans in a configurator with your own pricing and trial, attach a snapshot, and publish a signup page. The agency side includes automatic sub-account and user creation, dunning that locks accounts for non-payment, and Twilio rebilling. Snapshots are pre-built account setups that HighLevel offers for industries such as real estate, dentists and gyms.

Price the full white-label stack before you sell it. As an illustration, an Agency Pro account with the mobile app and the portal app for 10 clients lists at $497 + $497 + (10 × $49) = $1,484 a month before usage.

What is GoHighLevel best at?

HighLevel organizes its platform around five jobs: capture, nurture, close, evangelize and reactivate. Its platform overview lists websites and funnels, forms and quizzes, missed-call text-back, an ad manager for Google, Facebook and Instagram ads, pipelines, workflow automation, booking calendars, automated review requests, courses and communities.

The conversation stream combines SMS, Messenger and Instagram DMs, WhatsApp and live chat. HighLevel’s FAQ says most users replace their CRM, funnel builder, email marketing, scheduler, SMS and review tools with it. For an agency running lead generation for local businesses, that bundle is hard to match, and our marketing agency CRM guide covers the wider category.

Is GoHighLevel a project management tool?

Partly, and it is fairer to be specific. HighLevel covers more of the sale than its funnel reputation suggests. Documents & Contracts sends proposals, estimates and contracts with online signing and payment collection, and payments and invoicing are core features. Its Task Manager tracks tasks with an assignee, due date and status, linked to a contact.

What the published core-feature list does not name is project boards with budgets, time tracking, or billing logged hours to an invoice. That matters when delivery is the product. Picture a monthly SEO retainer where the client asks for three extra landing pages. Someone has to quote that work, get approval and bill it. If six hours a month slip through unbilled at $120 an hour, that is $8,640 a year in this example.

Ask four delivery questions during any trial: who owns this task, how much budget is left, which hours are billable, and what does the client see? If contact-level tasks answer them, HighLevel may be enough. If not, plan for a delivery tool alongside it, and count it in the total software budget.

Test GoHighLevel with one real client

Use the 14-day trial on one client you would actually onboard:

  1. Write the path from lead to paid invoice. Mark which steps are marketing and which are delivery.
  2. Build the marketing side. Form or funnel, pipeline stage, follow-up workflow, booked call and review request.
  3. Send the agreement. Create a proposal in Documents & Contracts and check how payment and signing work for your client.
  4. Run the first week of delivery. Create the tasks, assign owners and note where scope, budget and hours would live.
  5. Add an exception. Quote three extra pages mid-month and follow the request through approval and billing.
  6. Log in as the client. Check what the white-labeled app or portal shows: progress, files and the invoice.
  7. Price the full stack. Plan, add-ons, expected usage and any delivery tool you would keep.

When to compare Workspace369

Our pick for agencies whose product is the client work is Workspace369, which we make. It prices by seat rather than by client account. Proposals with themes, projects, a client portal, invoices, retainers with auto-invoicing, a service catalog with delivery cost and gross margin, and email workflows (up to 3 active on Cadet) come on every plan.

Voyager ($74 a month, 2 seats) adds time tracking from timer to bill entries to invoice, Requests (a lead form whose submissions convert to clients), and a shared inbox where client email and texts share one thread with an AI summary. Specialist ($149, 10 seats) adds deposits paid on proposal acceptance, client self-booking pages, calls with AI call summaries and webhooks and API. Extra seats are $10 a month from Voyager, and every plan has a 14-day free trial. Workspace369 pricing
